Invisible Mode: How to Hide the Assistant During Screen Sharing
In short: Invisible Mode excludes the assistant window from screen capture. During sharing, streaming or recording, viewers see only your desktop, while the hints stay on your monitor.
Why you need it
In interviews you're often asked to share your screen, or the session is recorded. Any hint in frame exposes the tool. Invisible Mode removes that risk.
How it works
- The window is marked as excluded from capture using OS-level facilities.
- When sharing the screen, a window or a region, the hints never get into the picture.
- Recording and streaming capture only the other windows.
On your physical monitor the hints look completely normal.
When to enable it
- Before a Zoom / Meet / Teams call where sharing is possible.
- If the interview is recorded.
- If you're streaming the process.
What else protects your privacy
- Local speech processing — your voice never leaves the computer.
- The résumé is processed on the device.
- Only the LLM request text goes out.
Checking that it works
- Enable Invisible Mode.
- Start sharing and open the preview.
- Make sure the assistant window is absent from the preview.

FAQ
Is the window visible in an interview recording?
No — with Invisible Mode on, the window is excluded from capture and never gets into recordings or streams.
Does the mode work in every program?
In most capture systems — yes. After capture-tool updates it's worth re-checking.
If proctoring bans third-party tools, will Invisible Mode help?
It can hide the window, but it doesn't cancel the ban. Where the rules forbid an assistant, it must not be used.
